1st May 2003 Windsurfing: Brogborough Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 5-30 mph Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 15 Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny / cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: Arrived about 3.45pm to see people out on 5.5 sails "oh dam I thought" as the only kit I bought with me was big Thought what the hell rigged 6.3 and stuck 35cm fin in my 150lt techno and got stuck in. I thought I was gonna struggle but things just seemed to come together had some really nice runs managed some gybes and some tacks where I planned right up to the eye of the wind. As I m getting used by now the wind was suddenly switched off so I had an hour messing around doing flare gybes and sailing clew first. I tried sailing on the wrong side of the sail and pushing the sail into the wind (what ever thats called) but things just seemed to go horribley wrong guess I need more practice, like most of my sailing does. |
